Lab1 : Software Installation

Hi All,

I will be conducting the training for you on creating Mobile App using Android Studio.

All labs are graded ad be conducted on F2F in the laboratory.

As it is a BYOD session, remember to bring along your PC notebook (Windows Preferred) for the training.

Pls note that ALL labs are graded.

#1 Install Wamp Server (Or XAMPP*)

WAMP Server (411 MB) for PHP and MySQL (database)

#2 Install Android Studio

#2 You need to download Android Studio .

There is a video to show you on the installation. quite Straight Forward. If you encounter any problem, u may email me.

As it will take longer  time to download and install with TP-WIFI, you are required to do the installation at home before the Lab.

#2 For HP Notebooks with with Intel Haxm problems in Android Studio  

HP pc notebooks may need to do some bios setup to enable virtualization.
